Short listing for the forthcoming February 7, 2009 Pre-recruitment examination

Candidates who did not make the list for the February recruitment examination must have fallen into at least one of the following categories of reasons of non-compliance:

  • Some sent their completed PIF (Personal Information Forms) to any other address but the prescribed one (i.e. titi@cyberschuulnews.com) – These applicants would not have received any response whatsoever.( I said in my original memo that Your completed form and any enquiries regarding this process must be sent to titi@cyberschuulnews.com regardless of whichever address I find convenient to communicate advise to you )

  • Some did not subscribe to CyberschuulNews before submitting their PIF contrary to our prescription. These applicants received responses which advised that their applications were discountenanced for that reason. (In my original memo I said To subscribe please send a request to subscribe@cyberschuulnews.com  and wait to receive confirmation that you have been subscribed. Subscription is free. If you are already subscribed please proceed with the process. Your form will be discountenanced if you complete it without being subscribed to the e-magazine.). A few were actually discountenanced.

  • Some, in their PIF, offered information which showed them to be incapable of meeting the requirements that our clients have specified- These applicants would not have received any response.

  • Some submitted their PIF after we had invited enough candidates which our resources can cope with for the examination of February 7. – These applicants received a response which has been copied as footnote herewith.

My reading is that many applicants do not read carefully and that must certainly affect their prospects.
